This 37 minute, single shot video examines aging, vanity and the absurdity of grooming through methodical eyebrow plucking. This precise, familiar, and seemingly ordinary exercise becomes a gesture of self-destructive transformation as the brows are eventually removed entirely and reconstructed as a mustache. In doing so, an inevitable sign of aging (in this case, unwanted facial hair) is claimed, controlled and accelerated.
